Dong Thap web portal, on the afternoon of April 19, the People's Committee of Tam Nong District, Tram Chim National Park and Korat Zoo organized communication activities to preserve and develop red -headed cranes. Activities to raise the awareness of the community about the importance of conservation of red -headed cranes and flooded soil ecosystems, acknowledging the efforts of organizations, experts and the community in conservation.

Korat Zoo leaders and experts introduced to the people of the buffer zone, along with young people about the conservation and development of Red-crowned Cranes of the animal and releasing cranes back into the wild in ecological rice fields in Buriram province, Northeast Thailand. 180 Red-crowned Cranes have been released into the wild, and these cranes' families make nests and lay eggs in ecological rice fields or in people's gardens.
This is a good experience to help people in the buffer zone of Tram Chim to develop and expand the ecological and organic rice area adjacent to the Park and raise awareness in preserving and developing Red-crowned Cranes, contributing to making Tram Chim increasingly green, clean and beautiful, so that Red-crowned Cranes can continue to recover, fly back to nature and stay with Tram Chim.

On this occasion, the Farmers' Association of Tam Nong district and the Farmers' Association of the buffer zone communes of Tram Chim National Park signed a commitment to produce green agriculture with the State to preserve and develop Red-crowned Cranes in Tram Chim National Park, Dong Thap province.
