The Department of Agriculture and Environment (NNMT) has issued a document requesting a number of agencies, units and localities to contribute opinions on the content of building a roadmap and plan to relocate the Tinh An Tay Industrial Cluster - Craft Village, in Truong Quang Trong ward.
According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department has issued a document requesting the Sub-Department of Environmental Protection of the Central and Central Highlands regions to provide information and documents related to the survey and assessment of environmental quality in the Chim Son Tinh canal area.

At the same time, the Department has also sent documents requesting the Department of Industry and Trade, Truong Quang Trong Ward People's Committee, People's Committees of Tho Phong and Tinh Khe communes to coordinate in contributing opinions on the development of the roadmap and plan for relocating this industrial cluster.
Based on the opinions of departments, branches, and localities, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will advise and report to the Provincial People's Committee before June 20, 2026.
Tinh An Tay industrial cluster - craft village, Truong Quang Trong ward currently has about 20 businesses operating. This industrial cluster has not been invested in a centralized wastewater treatment system.
Wastewater generated from the production activities of enterprises is mainly collected and treated locally by each establishment according to the environmental dossier approved before being discharged into the environment.
At the end of May 2026, after the press reflected on the pollution situation at the Chim Son Tinh canal - the canal flowing through the industrial cluster, functional sectors took water samples in this area for analysis.
According to the results of analyzing water samples at the drainage culvert of Tinh An Tay Industrial Cluster - Craft Village by the Central and Central Highlands Sub-Department of Environmental Protection, the water did not meet national technical standards for industrial wastewater.
