The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6 (39 - 49km/h), gusting to level 8. The tropical depression is moving westward at a speed of 5 - 10km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move west-southwest, at a speed of 10 - 15km/h. At 1:00 p.m. on December 7, the center was at about 11.7 degrees north latitude; 123.2 degrees east longitude, in the central Philippines. Intensity level 6, gust level 8.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the tropical depression will continue to move west-southwest, at a speed of 15 - 20km/h. At 1:00 p.m. on December 8, the center was at about 11.5 degrees north latitude; 119.4 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of the central East Sea. Intensity level 6, gust level 8.
The dangerous area in the next 48 hours is determined to be an area from 10.5 to 13 degrees north latitude, east of 118 degrees east longitude. The natural disaster risk level is level 3 for the sea area east of the central East Sea.
From the next 48 to 72 hours, the tropical depression will continue to move west-southwest, traveling 20 - 25km per hour, with little change in intensity.
At sea, from early morning on December 8, the sea area east of the central East Sea will have winds gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 8; waves 2 - 4m high, rough seas. Ship operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
