It is forecasted that around tonight and early tomorrow morning (July 25), Typhoon Noul will enter the East Sea into Typhoon No. 2, affecting the weather in the northeastern sea area of the North East Sea.

Updated from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 13:00 on July 24, the center of Typhoon Noul was located at about 18.7 degrees North latitude - 122.6 degrees East longitude, about 90km east-northeast of Luzon Island (Philippines). The strongest wind near the center of the typhoon is strong at level 8-9 (62-88 km/h), gusting at level 12. The typhoon moves in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of about 25 km/h.

Forecast for the next 24 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction, at a speed of about 25 km/h and is likely to strengthen further.

By 13:00 on July 25, the storm's center will be located at about 21.3 degrees North latitude - 117.9 degrees East longitude; in the Northeast sea area of the Northern East Sea, about 430km east-southeast of Hong Kong (China).

Wind intensity is strong at level 10-11, gusts at level 13. The dangerous area is located about the north of latitude 18 degrees North latitude; east of longitude 115 degrees East longitude. The disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea.

Forecast for the next 48 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction, at a speed of 15-20 km/h and gradually weaken.

By 13:00 on July 26, the storm's center will be located at about 23.7 degrees North latitude - 114.8 degrees East longitude; over the mainland area southeast of Guangdong province (China).

Wind intensity is strong at level 8-9, gusting at level 11. The dangerous area is located about the north of latitude 19.5 degrees North latitude; east of longitude 113.5 degrees East longitude. The disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea.

Forecast for the next 60 hours, the storm will move in a North-Northwest direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h and gradually weaken into a tropical depression, then weaken into a low pressure area below level 6.

By 1:00 AM on July 27, the center of the low pressure area will be located at about 25.5 degrees North latitude - 114.3 degrees East longitude, on land east of Guangdong province (China).

Regarding the impact of the storm, according to current forecasts, Typhoon Noul mainly moves in a West-Northwest direction, with a high probability (over 80%) of making landfall in Guangdong province (China), with little possibility of directly affecting the mainland of Vietnam.

At sea, from the evening of July 24, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea area will gradually have winds increasing to level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9, sea waves 3-5m high; the area near the storm center will be strong at level 10-11, gusting at level 13, sea waves 4-6m high. The sea is violently rough.

Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, and large waves.
