Recorded on August 19, due to the impact of heavy rain in the past 2 days, a section of the taluy on DT 722 route, passing through Dam Rong 3 commune, Lam Dong province, was landslide, soil and rocks spilled onto the road surface, affecting traffic flow.

Immediately after detecting the incident, the route management unit inspected the scene, mobilized manpower and mechanical vehicles to collect soil and rocks, clear the road surface, and ensure traffic.
Along with handling the soil and rocks overflowing into the road, functional forces inspect the taluy area to assess the risk of continued landslides in complicated weather conditions.

People traveling on DT 722 route are advised to reduce speed, pay attention to observation when passing through the area being repaired, especially during heavy rain.
Functional forces continue to monitor weather developments and the taluy situation along the route to promptly handle if new landslide points arise.

DT 722 is a new road nearly 19km long, with a total investment of about 600 billion VND, connecting Dam Rong area with neighboring localities.

The road was technically opened to traffic at the end of June 2026, expected to contribute to completing the inter-regional transportation network between Lam Dong and Dak Lak, promoting connectivity in the Central Highlands region.
