On the evening of September 19, Mr. Dinh Viet Dung - Chairman of the People's Committee of D'Ran commune (Lam Dong) said that functional forces are implementing safety measures after the landslide incident that collapsed the civil bridge in the area.
Previously, at about 2:30 pm on the same day, in Ga hamlet, Phu Thuan village, D'Ran commune, water from the Suoi Cat bridge area flowed in large volumes, causing the bridge foot to landslide, leading to the concrete bridge collapsing.

The incident isolated 8 households with 35 people. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Military Command of D'Ran commune sent 1 officer and 9 standing militiamen to the scene, coordinating with the commune police to inspect and grasp the situation.
Functional forces have stretched out warning ropes, preventing people from passing through the collapsed bridge area and organized guards to ensure safety.
By 6 pm on the same day, a working group including police and standing militia continued to be deployed at the scene to monitor developments, warn people and prevent access to dangerous areas.
According to local authorities, the collapsed bridge area is currently not safe for people to pass through. In heavy rain conditions, the water may continue to rise, increasing the risk of landslides.
D'Ran commune authorities are monitoring the situation, checking the level of impact and developing a plan to handle and overcome the incident.
Property damage is being inspected, statistically analyzed and summarized by functional forces.
People are advised not to arbitrarily approach or pass through the collapsed bridge area, and at the same time comply with the instructions of functional forces to ensure safety.
