Quang Ninh - On the afternoon of September 5, at Bai Tu Long beach (Cam Pha ward), the Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated to organize the release of recycled seeds for aquatic resources in 2025.

More than 1 million breeds including catfish, mackerel, crab... have been released into the waters of Bai Tu Long Bay. The addition of this breed will help restore and maintain biodiversity, creating a long-term livelihood for coastal fishermen.

In recent years, the work of protecting and developing aquatic resources has been strongly implemented by Quang Ninh province.

From 2020 to now, the whole province has released more than 48.7 million fish, shrimp, and mollusk species to the natural environment to supplement, regenerate, and restore marine life.

In early 2025 alone, on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the Fisheries Industry's Traditional Day (April 1, 2019 - April 1, 2025), 165,000 fish fry were released at Yen Lap Lake.
