On the evening of August 19, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, many green trees fell, blocking National Highway 20 through Ninh Gia commune, causing traffic obstruction.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the Military Command of Ninh Gia commune mobilized officers and soldiers to coordinate with the Traffic Police force and local forces to urgently be present at the scene.
Forces organize to saw and collect fallen green trees, clear the road surface, and ensure safety for people and vehicles traveling.
Regardless of rain or wind, officers and soldiers worked overnight, quickly handling trees blocking the road, clearing traffic routes; at the same time, regulating and diverting traffic to ensure traffic safety on National Highway 20.
After many efforts, at about 10 pm on the same day, the fallen green tree points blocking National Highway 20 were cleared, and traffic through the area returned to normal.
In addition to overcoming fallen green tree points, local military forces also support people in environmental sanitation, overcoming the consequences of heavy rain, helping households soon stabilize their lives.
