On the last day of 2025, the pace of life in Da Nang became busier than ever. When the crowd rushed home to be on time for reunions, somewhere under the street lights, environmental sanitation workers were still diligently sweeping, and homeless people were still quietly finding a place to stay overnight.
Understanding that hardship and disadvantage, the Tu Tam An Charity Club organized a program to give gifts overnight. 150 Tet gifts were carefully prepared to be sent to "old people" all over Da Nang streets.
Each gift, although simple, but imbued with the flavor of Tet, is a spiritual encouragement sent to the workers who are still silently contributing to a clean and beautiful city until the last minute of the year.
The journey of this club starts from central roads such as Bach Dang, Tran Phu and gradually spreads to further areas. At each stop, not only gifts are given but also sincere greetings and Tet greetings.
Just wiping away the sweat on her forehead, Ms. Dinh Thi Ngoc Nang - an environmental sanitation worker who is working emotionally: "On the last day of the year, there is a lot of garbage, we have to work overtime to clean up the streets in time. Being tired and receiving a Chung cake and a box of cakes from the children, I feel very warm. It feels like Tet is coming very soon, even though I am still on the street".

For workers, the cakes and water bottles on the last night of the year are not just food, but a symbol of community concern. In the chill of the last night of the year, the warmth from compassion seems to spread, partly dispelling the loneliness and hardship of the silent lives.
Sharing about this activity, Ms. My Hien, representative of Tu Tam An Charity Club, said: "The last day of the year always brings a very special feeling. I want to use these gifts to send my thanks to the sanitation workers - the most vat va people tonight. At the same time, I also hope that the workers will have a little more joy, a little sweet cake to welcome the new year less desolate".
150 gifts given on New Year's Eve in Da Nang is not just a number, it is 150 stories about kindness, a testament to the spirit of "good leaves protect torn leaves" of the people of the city by the Han River. As the clock speeds towards the moment of New Year's Eve, cars full of gifts still quietly move. Da Nang streets on New Year's Eve are not only beautiful because of the flower lights, but also beautiful because of kind hearts that know how to think for each other amidst the hustle and bustle of life.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
