HUE - A Dong Ba market security guard was rewarded after picking up a wallet containing money and papers and finding and returning it to the person who dropped it.

On May 25, the Dong Ba Market Management Board (Hue City) awarded certificates of merit to Mr. Tran Quoc Huy - Night Order and Protection Team - for his outstanding achievements in the "Good people, good deeds" movement.

Previously, at about 7:50 pm on May 24, during a patrol at Dong Ba market, Mr. Huy discovered a black wallet that had been dropped, so he quickly brought it to the Team Command to check and verify information.

Inside the wallet were 3.7 million VND and many important documents. Through verification, functional forces identified the owner of the wallet as Mr. Dang My - a small trader selling packaging at Dong Ba market and returned all assets.

The Dong Ba Market Management Board assessed that Mr. Tran Quoc Huy's honest and responsible actions contributed to spreading a beautiful image of the security force, building a civilized, safe and meaningful market environment.
