Information from the People's Committee of Xuan Tang Ward (Lao Cai City, Lao Cai Province), at 11:25 p.m. on March 27, on the inter-village road of Group 14, people discovered a pink plastic lane containing a girl about 2 days old, accompanied by clothes, a blanket and a letter.
The letter reads: "I gave birth but could not raise it. I hope that anyone who can pick up a child will raise him to be a human being. The baby was born on March 26, 2025".
Xuan Tang Ward People's Committee made a record and took the child to the Ward Health Station for health check-up. Currently, the child weighs 2.8kg, is 46cm long, has no birth defects, and is in stable health.
Currently, the People's Committee of Xuan Tang Ward informs anyone who is the father, mother or relative of the child, please contact the ward or the authorities to resolve the matter according to the provisions of law.
If no relatives come to claim the children after the deadline, the authorities will handle the case according to regulations on abandoned children.
