On May 13, Ms. Le Thi Kieu Loan (35 years old, permanent resident of Tra Cu Hamlet, Thuan Nghia Hoa Commune, Thanh Hoa District, Long An Province) said she had received the property she had lost - picked up and returned by a Long An Police Mobile Police.
Previously, on May 8, while performing his duties, Major Dao Thanh Phong - Deputy Captain of the Mobile Police Team, Mobile Police Department of Long An Provincial Police - discovered and picked up a handbag dropped by people on Provincial Road 817, about 2km from Long Thuan Commune Police, Thu Thua District, towards National Highway N2.
Inside the handbag were 23 million VND in cash, 2 mobile phones, a Citizen Identification Card and a Health Insurance card. After the discovery, Major Phong handed over all assets to Long Thuan Commune Police for verification to find and return the person who dropped them.
On the same day, Long Thuan Commune Police identified the owner as Ms. Le Thi Kieu Loan (born in 1990, residing in Tra Cu Hamlet, Thuan Nghia Hoa Commune, Thanh Hoa District, Long An Province) and proceeded to return the entire property. After receiving the property back, Ms. Loan was moved and expressed her gratitude to the police force, especially Major Dao Thanh Phong.
