According to Xuan Hoi Commune Police (Nghi Xuan District), on the afternoon of May 13, the unit organized for Hoang Duc Duy (11 years old, residing in Xuan Hoi Commune) to return 61 million VND to the person who dropped it, Ms. Mai Thi Huong (born in 1976, residing in Hoi Thuy Village, Xuan Hoi Commune).
Previously, at around 11:30 a.m. the same day, Xuan Hoi Commune Police received a report from Ms. Huong about dropping a large sum of money on the way back to the market.
Immediately afterwards, the Commune Police announced the incident through the Zalo model "Peaceful Connection", mobilizing people to support the search.
Only about 10 minutes later, Mr. Hoang Ngoc Giang (residing in Hoi Tien village, Xuan Hoi commune) contacted the commune police to inform them that his son, Hoang Duc Duy, had picked up the money on the dike in Hoi Tien village.
After that, Mr. Giang and his son brought the entire amount back to Ms. Mai Thi Huong under the witness of Xuan Hoi Commune Police
Receiving the lost property, Ms. Huong emotionally sent her sincere thanks to the Commune Police and Mr. Giang and his son.
