Previously, at 9:50 am on March 19, the Fire and Rescue Team of Gia Binh area (Bac Ninh province) received a report about a resident trapped in a concrete mixer truck that overturned into a pond in Vang Thon village, Gia Binh commune.
Immediately after receiving the news, the unit dispatched a rescue vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers to the scene to organize rescue and relief.
At the scene, the concrete mixer truck overturned underwater, with a downward trend, and the water level in the truck rose, causing the victim to fall into a state of panic and shortness of breath.
While waiting for the crane to arrive, the Fire and Rescue Police quickly approached, keeping the victim's head floating on the water, and at the same time reassuring the spirit to deploy rescue measures.
After 45 minutes, with a spirit of urgency and responsibility, the working group brought the victim ashore and transferred him to Gia Binh General Hospital for emergency treatment.
