According to Can Tho City Police, the letters are rustic but contain trust and affection for the People's Public Security soldiers in the work of grasping the situation, maintaining security, order and peace at the grassroots level.
Mr. Mai Minh Xuan (area 5, Cai Rang ward) shared the incident of mistakenly transferring 30 million VND to a stranger's account. During the confusion, he sought support from the ward police. After only one day, with dedicated guidance and support, he received his entire amount.
In the letter, Mr. Xuan expressed "absolutely confidence in the People's Public Security force" and was moved by the sense of responsibility and dedication to serving the people of the officers and soldiers.
Another resident living in Cai Rang ward said that recently, his family and neighbors felt uneasy about the situation of many strangers showing unusual signs or retreating to the neighborhood where they lived with many suspicious signs, causing many people to feel uneasy and limiting children from playing outside.
While people in the area were still worried, the ward police force proactively grasped the area, detected complicated signs early and advised to coordinate with the professional units of the city police to fight and successfully destroy the drug illegal use gathering place in the Tay Do Cultural Resettlement Area, arrested 21 subjects (including many subjects from other provinces), seized about 26.5 grams of drugs and many related exhibits.
The timely elimination of this complex gathering place has restored peace to the neighborhood and the peace of mind for the people.
