On the evening of July 11, Lai Chau Provincial Police said that at around 3:30 p.m. the same day, the working group of Ta Leng Commune Police, while patrolling to control security and order on National Highway 4D, discovered 3 children with signs of panic and fatigue pushing an electric bicycle together.
The working group approached and asked about it, and learned that in the morning of the same day, the three children, Hoang Van Nam (born in 2012), Hoang Thanh Viet (born in 2013) and Vi Van An (born in 2012), all residing in Phieng Phat village, Tan Uyen commune (formerly Trung Dong commune), borrowed their family's electric bicycles, lied to their parents about breakfast and then invited them to go out together.
After that, the 3 children got lost and went to Ta Leng commune about 50km from home, then the bicycles ran out of electricity. Using professional measures, Ta Leng Commune Police quickly verified the information and proactively contacted and instructed the parents to pick up the 3 children.
Ms. Luong Thi Anh (parent of 3 children) said: "I didn't know that the children had lied and took an electric bicycle to Ta Leng commune. Fortunately, the brothers at the commune police caught and brought the children to the headquarters safely."
