Lam Dong Police coordinate to return more than 35 million VND to people who dropped it

Lam Dong - After a short period of verification, the Lam Dong Provincial Police force returned more than 35 million VND and many important documents to people who dropped them.

On July 29, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the Mobile Police Department in coordination with Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police had just returned the amount of 35.43 million VND and many documents to Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Linh (born 1989, residing in Nam Gia Nghia ward).

Previously, during patrols and guards at the Provincial Police target in Dong Gia Nghia ward, officers of the Mobile Police Department received from Mr. Vo The Vi (born in 1995, residing in Dong Gia Nghia ward) an orange bag containing 35.43 million VND and many important documents.

Immediately after that, all assets were handed over to Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police to verify the owner.

Through review, functional forces identified the person who dropped it as Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Linh.

Ms. Linh said that she accidentally dropped the bag while moving from Nam Gia Nghia ward to Le Lai street, Dong Gia Nghia ward to work.

After comparing documents and verifying complete information, Dong Gia Nghia Ward Police in coordination with the Mobile Police Department returned all assets to Ms. Linh.

Receiving her property back, Ms. Linh expressed her emotion and thanked Mr. Vo The Vi and the police force for quickly supporting her in finding the lost money and papers.

According to Lam Dong Provincial Police, Mr. Vo The Vi's honest action is a beautiful gesture, contributing to spreading positive values in the community.
