Lao Cai - A mistaken transfer transaction of nearly 200 million VND has been verified by Quy Mong Commune Police, supporting the parties to fully refund.

On September 10, information from Quy Mong Commune Police, Lao Cai province, the unit has just supported Mr. Bui Ngoc Giap (born in 1974, residing in Hanh Phuc village, Quy Mong commune) to return 198.5 million VND to Ms. Duong Thi Hanh (born in 1977, residing in Tay Hoa village, An Lao commune, Quang Tri province) due to mistaken transfer.

Previously, on August 30, Ms. Hanh carried out a transaction to transfer money from a Sacombank bank account to pay for goods purchased for business household Tran Viet Toan.

However, during the transaction, she mistakenly transferred 198.5 million VND to Mr. Giap's account.

On September 4, Mr. Giap and Ms. Hanh went to Quy Mong Commune Police to report the incident.

After receiving it, Quy Mong Commune Police checked and verified documents related to the transaction, determining that the above amount was mistakenly transferred by Ms. Hanh to Mr. Giap's account.

Working with the police agency, Mr. Giap confirmed that he had received money from an unfamiliar bank account and later determined that this was money transferred by mistake by Ms. Hanh.

Based on verification, Quy Mong Commune Police supported the two sides to carry out the return of property.

Mr. Giap voluntarily returned all 198.5 million VND to Ms. Hanh in cash, in the presence of Quy Mong Commune Police and witnesses.
