On March 24, Mr. Nguyen Hoa - the owner of a homestay in Ham Tien ward, Phan Thiet city - said that the Russian male tourist staying at his facility had overcome the critical condition thanks to being taken to the emergency room in time. This tourist was also supported with initial hospital fees by homestays and foreign tourists who are fellow countrymen.
Male tourist M.K (born in 1988, Russian nationality) booked a resort and stayed at homestay C.H in Ham Tien ward, Phan Thiet city. After staying for about 3 weeks, on the morning of March 22, Mr. M.K fell at the accommodation facility in a state of convulsions, a stiff mouth, and bleeding head.

The homestay owner and Mr. M.K's new girlfriend took the male tourist to the hospital for emergency care. The doctor diagnosed Mr. M.K with quite severe synesthesia and had to transfer him to a special monitoring room. The initial payment cost is about 5 - 8 million VND.
Because his girlfriend and the male tourist did not have enough money to advance hospital fees, the homestay owner supported Mr. M.K. with 3,000,000 VND to treat him. At the same time, knowing the male tourist's difficult situation, the homestay owner contacted Ham Tien Ward Police for support and tried to contact Mr. M.K's relatives in Russia.

The homestay owner and Ham Tien Ward Police also posted information about the male tourist being seriously ill and needing to find relatives to the Russian clubs and groups staying in Ham Tien Ward and Mui Ne Ward for help.
Many friends and compatriots of Mr. M.K. visited and provided additional hospital fees. According to Ham Tien Ward Police, the male tourist received timely support from friends and is currently in good health.
Mr. M.K's Russian friends sent their thanks to Ham Tien Ward Police, the homestay owner, for timely support and connection with Mr. M.K's relatives and friends to feel secure in treatment and overcome the critical condition.
