On June 1, Dak Rve Commune Police said they had received 2 million VND handed over by a student in the area after picking it up on the road.
Accordingly, at about 9:30 am on the same day, after completing the third exam of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year, Pham Ngoc Truc (born 2011, residing in hamlet 7, Dak Rve commune, 9D2 student, Dak Rve Secondary School) on the way home picked up 2 million VND in the area of the A Vui - Duy Tan intersection.
Because she could not identify the person who dropped it, Truc proactively brought all the money to the Dak Rve Commune Police headquarters to report and hand it over, requesting the police force to support verification, search and return it to the person who lost it.
For a 9th grade student, the amount of 2 million VND is a large sum of money. However, Pham Ngoc Truc chose the right action, showing honesty, sense of responsibility and self-respect.
Proactively handing over found property to functional agencies to find and return it to the person who lost it is not only a beautiful action but also contributes to spreading positive human values in the community.
His actions are proof of the effectiveness of moral education from the family and school, and also a bright example for students to follow.
