The "Red Drops of Love" blood donation program is one of the activities within the framework of the 1st Employment Day in 2025 organized by the City Labor Federation.
Speaking at the opening of the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Phiet - Vice President of the City Labor Federation - emphasized that each drop of blood donated is not only a sharing in difficulties, but also a hope, a life for those in need. Over many years of organization, the voluntary blood donation movement of the City's Trade Unions at all levels has attracted the participation of many cadres, union members, and workers, affirming the sense of responsibility, kind heart and noble gestures of each collective and individual.

Since the beginning of 2025, the City Labor Federation has organized a good campaign to promote voluntary blood donation among workers and laborers. As a result, more than 15 blood donations were organized with the participation of nearly 5,000 registrants, collecting more than 4,000 units of blood.
"On today's blood donation day, more than 1,000 union members and workers registered to donate blood. The City Labor Federation respectfully thanks volunteers, staff, and workers - those who are willing to share part of their bodies, their precious drops of blood for the community, donate blood - give life" - Vice President of the City Labor Federation said.

Participating in blood donation at the festival, Mr. An Van Nam - a union member of Hai Duong Children's Hospital - excitedly said that this was the 10th time Mr. Nam participated in voluntary blood donation.
"Although I have donated blood many times, today's event was the happiest. To participate in the festival atmosphere and participate in meaningful blood donation activities to save lives, I am very happy and proud" - Mr. Nam said.
As the first union members to donate blood at the festival, Mr. Tran Vinh Huy - a union member of Dinh Vang Company Limited - excitedly held the Voluntary Blood Donation Certificate in hand. Mr. Huy shared that this was the first time Mr. Huy had participated in blood donation at such a large-scale event. During this blood donation, Mr. Huy donated 350 ml of blood, feeling very stable in health and spirit after donating blood.
