With the theme "Connecting love", on March 30, 2025, the Center for Natural Resources and Environment Communication in collaboration with the inspectorate of Hoa Binh province and a number of enterprises organized a free medical examination and medicine distribution program in Thanh Son commune, one of the particularly disadvantaged communes of Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province with the majority of ethnic minorities living there, of which the Thai ethnic group accounts for more than 60%, the Muong ethnic group accounts for more than 30%, still facing many difficulties in life, economic development as well as access to health services.
The program organized medical examinations, provided free medicine and presented gifts to 567 people, poor people, martyrs' families, people with revolutionary contributions, the elderly, children, and people with disabilities in Thanh Son commune with the following examinations: General examination, internal medicine, dental and maxillofacial examination, dermatology, eye examination, blood pressure, diabetes.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Mr. Vu Minh Ly, Deputy Director of the Communications Center, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, said that in the past time, the impacts of climate change, natural disasters, and environmental pollution have caused many impacts on the health of people across the country, especially people in remote areas facing many difficulties and challenges.
Therefore, the organization of the Program aims to actively contribute to improving the quality of health care for people in Thanh Son commune, Mai Chau district, especially vulnerable groups, such as the poor, martyrs' families, people with revolutionary contributions, the elderly, children, and people with disabilities. The program not only brings opportunities for free medical examination and medicine distribution but also educates people about awareness and disease prevention skills.
Along with that is limiting the impacts of climate change and environmental pollution on people's health. Contributing to improving people's health and endurance in the face of increasingly complex challenges of environmental pollution.

The annual free medical examination and medicine distribution program in Thanh Son commune was organized with the enthusiastic support and assistance of the Hoa Binh Provincial Inspectorate and the People's Committee of Mai Chau district. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Huy Hoang, Deputy Chief Inspector of Hoa Binh province, said that the program of free medical examination and medicine distribution in Thanh Son commune with the support of organizations, businesses, doctors and volunteers is a very meaningful activity for the people of Thanh Son commune when the health care conditions of the people are still difficult.
The cooperation of kind and affectionate hearts contributes to sharing the difficulties with the people and will create conditions for people to access the best health care services.
