Not only stopping at gift-giving or short-term support activities, more and more young people choose to accompany children in mountainous areas for a long time through projects related to education, schools and housing.
Among them, the "Building Dreams" volunteer group is implementing many activities to support disadvantaged children by building new and repairing school sites, awarding scholarships and supporting gratitude houses for people in difficult circumstances.
Xay Uoc Mo" is a charity group established in 2018 with the goal of supporting children in difficult circumstances through activities related to education, housing and livelihoods for families. The group's predecessor was the ADF charity fund implemented by ADF Construction Company to carry out community activities.
After a period of operation, from the desire to support more children, the "Building Dreams" volunteer group was officially formed with the participation not only of company personnel but also of many young people and philanthropists across the country.
To date, the group said it has supported more than 1,000 disadvantaged children through activities such as building new schools, repairing schools, providing housing support, awarding scholarships and connecting resources to help families improve living conditions. Many of the group's projects are being implemented in highland areas, where children are still lacking facilities and learning conditions.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Trinh Thang - Head of the Xay Uoc Mo charity group said that in the past time, members of the group have continued to be present at many highland school sites to paint and repair classrooms, renovate campuses and support the completion of gratitude houses for poor households. Seemingly small tasks such as holding paint brushes, transporting materials or cleaning school sites have become joys for many volunteers.

Representatives of the group said that the group's activities focus on supporting poor children, children in mountainous areas and those facing difficulties in life, especially towards sustainable education projects.
In which, the "Dream School" project is implemented to build new and repair schools in highland areas, ethnic minority areas, where children's learning conditions are still very poor.
In parallel with that, the "Dream Scholarship" project supports monthly tuition fees from 600,000 to 1 million VND for students in particularly difficult circumstances until the age of 18, helping them have more opportunities to continue going to school.
According to the charity group, what they aim for is not only immediate material support but also the desire to create long-term change for poor children through education.
On May 16th, the group will continue to plan to start construction of 3 new school sites and organize the inauguration of a gratitude house in Tuyen Quang. The funding for implementing the projects is mobilized from the joint efforts of philanthropists, benefactors and the community. The Dream Building Charity Group plays the role of connecting resources, directly participating in painting and repairing, supporting the completion of school sites to soon put them into use for children in mountainous areas.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - a member of the group shared that each trip is not simply a donation activity but also a journey to connect people who want to do good deeds. "What makes people continue to accompany is when they see the joy of children in the highlands when there are new classrooms or a more solid roof," Mr. Thanh said.
For many years, silent activities such as building schools, awarding scholarships or repairing houses have been maintained by many volunteer groups everywhere. Not noisy or ostentatious, these actions contribute to spreading the spirit of sharing and adding hope to many difficult circumstances.
