People picked up 20.5 million VND, brought to the police to find the person who dropped it

Having picked up 20.5 million VND on the road, a resident in Quang Nam went to the police station to ask to return it to the person who dropped it.

On the morning of June 12, information from Dai Tan Commune Police, Dai Loc District, Quang Nam said that at around 8:00 a.m. on June 11, while going to work on DH 11DL route - the section bordering My Nam village (Dai Tan commune) and My Dong village (Dai Phong commune), Mr. Tran Bay (born in 1972, residing in Xuan Tay village, Dai Tan commune) picked up a stack of money worth 20.5 million VND.

Immediately afterwards, Mr. Tran Bay proactively reported the incident to Dai Tan Commune Police and Dai Phong Commune Police with the hope of finding the owner who dropped it.

Through the verification process, the police identified the person who lost the money as Mr. Luong Vi Viet (born in 1979, residing in Dai Khuong village, Dai Chanh commune, Dai Loc district). The entire amount was later fully returned to Mr. Viet by Dai Tan Commune Police in coordination with Mr. Tran Bay in the emotion and gratitude of the recipient.

The representative of Dai Tan Commune Police acknowledged that this was a beautiful act, demonstrating the honesty and community spirit of the local people, which was commendable and spread in the community.
