According to the forecast from the Quang Nam Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from 10:00 a.m. on June 11 to 10:00 a.m. on June 13, moderate to heavy rain will occur in most localities in the province, especially tonight and tomorrow (June 12).
The estimated rainfall in mountainous areas will range from 70-150mm, some places up to 200mm; the plains may receive rain from 100-200mm, some places over 250mm. It is forecasted that after 72 hours, the rain will gradually decrease and the heavy rain will end.

As of the morning of June 11, the water level on the Vu Gia, Thu Bon and Tam Ky rivers is still fluctuating slowly and is below alert level 1 (BD1). However, flooding is expected to increase during this heavy rainstorm.
The flood peak on the Vu Gia River may reach below BD1 to above BD1; on the Thu Bon River and Tam Ky River, the water level may rise below BD1 to BD1. Coastal areas, streams and low-lying areas may face the risk of flooding, flash floods and landslides.
To respond promptly, Mr. Le Van Dung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued a telegram requesting localities, agencies and functional units to focus on measures to respond to storm No. 1.
Localities should proactively review and inspect high-risk residential areas, especially those along rivers, streams, coastal areas, and low-lying areas. If a bad situation occurs, the authorities will organize the evacuation of people to safe places.

Urgently ensure the safety of ships and people in coastal areas, islands and aquaculture areas. At the same time, forces are also prepared to support rescue when required.
People need to proactively raise vigilance and take preventive measures to protect their lives and property during the prolonged storm.
