Joining hands to build roads, supporting students in Son La border area

Son La - "March Border" program in Muong Lan commune with concrete road construction activities, supporting students and taking care of social security for people in border areas.

From March 25 to 28, Muong Lan Border Guard Station coordinated with the People's Procuracy of Region 3 and the People's Committee of Muong Lan commune to organize a series of volunteer activities in Huoi Pa village, Muong Lan commune.

Within the framework of the program, units and local people completed 80m of internal concrete roads.

The road contributes to improving travel conditions for people, and at the same time creates favorable conditions for more than 200 students to study at Huoi Pa school point under Huoi Pa Kindergarten and Primary School, Muong Lan commune.

In addition, the units also implemented many practical social security activities such as the "Meals for Children", "0-dong Booth" and "Border Guard Pull-ups" programs, and presented many gifts to students and households in difficult circumstances in the area.

In parallel with activities to support people's livelihoods, functional forces organize propaganda, dissemination and legal education for people, focusing on the Vietnam Border Guard Law and regulations related to protecting the rights of vulnerable people.

Lieutenant Colonel Mua Lao Thang - Political Commissar of Muong Lan Border Guard Station said that the "March Border" activity series this year has a total value of more than 50 million VND, focusing on practical tasks serving people in border areas.

Although the activities are not of great value, they are practical, contributing to improving people's lives and strengthening the connection between border guards and people in border areas," Lieutenant Colonel Mua Lao Thang shared.
