On December 26, the Department of Organization and Personnel of Hoa Binh Provincial Police launched and coordinated with the Representative Office of Lao Dong Newspaper in the Northwest and benefactors to present gifts to disadvantaged households on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 in Mai Ha commune, Mai Chau district.
Here, the delegation presented gifts and cash with a total value of 130 million VND, including: health-enhancing functional foods; 20 rice cookers and 20 gifts sponsored by the Lao Dong Newspaper Representative Office in the Northwest (each gift worth 500,000 VND). The functional foods were delivered to Mai Ha Commune Health Station to receive and distribute to the right subjects for effective use.
Attending and presenting gifts at the program, Lieutenant Colonel Bui Viet Hung - Deputy Director of Hoa Binh Provincial Police - highly appreciated the volunteer activities of the Department of Organization and Personnel and the agencies, organizations and benefactors who coordinated at the program.
Through the activity, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department hopes that poor households in Mai Ha commune will strive to escape poverty and improve their lives. For the Party Committee, local government and people of Mai Ha commune, they will continue to promote the achievements in socio-economic development associated with maintaining security and order in the area; continue to stick together, support and help the police force to excellently complete their tasks.
