Promoting the spirit of "mutual love", responding to the Appeal to support people in flooded areas of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Party Committee - Board of Directors of Hanoi City Police has launched a widespread support movement throughout the force. The movement quickly spread, receiving active responses from affiliated units, mass organizations, enterprises and the people of the capital.
From here, the program "Capital Police Joining Hands for the Central and Central Highlands Incarnation" was implemented synchronously, becoming a spiritual and material support to people in the flood center.

Responding to the call, the Youth Union, Women's Union, and Hanoi City Police Union have closely coordinated with the Youth Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation and the Youth Union of Vietnam Television to receive support from officers, soldiers and people of the capital. Up to now, the amount of donated goods has been increasing continuously, showing the strong influence of the program.
Specifically, the units received 30 tons of rice, 4 tons of new clothes and thousands of boxes of necessities such as candy, instant noodles, milk, drinking water, children's diapers, dry food, blankets, medicine, books and school supplies.

The trucks of love carried a large quantity of necessities, crystallized from the sharing of the army and people of the capital, continuously heading to the Central and Central Highlands provinces. At the gathering points, officers and soldiers of the units worked through the night to classify, package and transport goods. Each box of goods, each gift bag contains the sense of responsibility and solidarity of the capital with the people struggling to overcome the losses caused by natural disasters.
Lieutenant Cu Thi My Kim, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Professional records, said that many youth union members and students of universities have volunteered to participate in supporting overnight. "Although it is difficult, it cannot be compared to what people in flooded areas are suffering," she shared.
In the same spirit, Major Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, President of the Women's Association of the Professional records Department, said: "The unit has implemented activities in three phases: supporting urgent necessities and medicines; continuing to mobilize resources to provide water purifiers and household equipment; and moving towards coordinating the construction of sustainable works such as schools, contributing to helping people stabilize long-term after natural disasters."
What is worth appreciating is that the support resources do not only come from the officers and soldiers of the Capital Police but also have the cooperation of agencies, organizations, enterprises and the majority of the Capital's people. In times of difficulty, the spirit of mutual love and the strength of national solidarity is spread even more, with the Capital Police force playing the role of a responsible, persistent and humane bridge. Sharing about this, Ms. Truong Thi Hoa, representative of the Women's Union of Phuong Liet Ward, said: "When we learned that the Hanoi Police had come to call and directly transported them to the scene, we, the Women's Union of Phuong Liet Ward, were very confident and actively responded. Whoever has contributed anything, I hope the people will soon overcome the disaster."

Since the beginning of October, responding to the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country", Hanoi City Police have organized two fundraising campaigns for the entire force, each officer and soldier contributing at least one day's salary. At the same time, the City Police have deployed four major work sessions directly to localities that suffered heavy damage, providing a total of support of 11 billion VND. In addition, the Capital Police also donated 3 billion VND to the People's Public Security Comrades' Association Fund, 1 billion VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and supported 51 cases of officers, soldiers and relatives facing difficulties due to natural disasters.
Captain Nguyen Huy Hoang, Deputy Head of the City Police Youth Union, affirmed: "In the coming time, the Capital Police force will continue to be a bridge, mobilizing social resources, organizing more meaningful activities, accompanying people in disaster areas until life here is stabilized again."
The activities to support people in flooded areas in 2025 continue to spread the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldier with the spirit of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", always taking the lead in difficult times. The persistent and steadfast love trips, the silent but warm sharing actions have clearly depicted the sense of responsibility, humanity and the heart always turned towards the people of the Capital Police force. The storm and flood will pass, but the love between the army and the people will remain, becoming a solid support for the people in the flooded areas to have more confidence and determination to overcome challenges.
