Immediately after the appeal of Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - at the launching ceremony to support compatriots affected by floods (afternoon of November 21), and after the launching speech of the response of Comrade Bui Huyen Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi (morning of November 22), a large number of cadres, party members and people in 126 communes and wards in the capital simultaneously responded with practical gestures, imbued with the spirit of "Hanoi for the whole country, Hanoi with the whole country".

Up to now, agencies, units, organizations, communes, wards, businesses and individuals in Hanoi have supported people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces with more than 5 billion VND.

In which, many agencies and units received large donations. At the Hanoi Party Committee's bridge point alone, right at the program to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces to overcome the consequences of floods (morning of November 22), responding to the Appeal of the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the leaders of Hanoi City and delegates attending the program donated 279,250,000 VND.

In addition, many communes and wards have also urgently responded to the call, such as: Tu Liem ward 270 million VND; Kieu Phu commune more than 186 million VND; Quoc Oai commune more than 168 million VND; Dong Ngac ward 150 million VND; Cua Nam ward more than 100 million VND; O Cho Dua ward 130 million VND...

It is known that today (November 23), in many localities in Hanoi, there are still continuing to be activities of gratitude and responsibility towards people in flooded areas, with the desire to promptly contribute to helping people in the Central and Central Highlands to soon overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.
