Not only dedicated to the medical profession, Dr. Pham Thi Hanh Trang is also a shining example with 25 voluntary blood donations. In 2018, she continued to register to donate tissues and organs with the desire to help others even when she was no longer there.
The journey for the community
Born and raised in Quang Binh, Dr. Pham Thi Hanh Trang soon nurtured her love for the medical profession, wishing to contribute to public health. Since she was a student, she had recognized the importance of donating blood to save lives and actively participated in voluntary blood donation programs.
"I always think that if I can give, this life will be more meaningful. Donating blood is a noble, simple act but can bring life and hope to patients waiting for each precious drop of blood" - Dr. Trang shared.

Every time she donates blood, she feels joyful and motivated. Not only stopping at herself, Dr. Trang also actively promotes and mobilizes colleagues, friends and relatives to participate in this meaningful activity. For her, donating blood is not only a charity act, but also shows responsibility to the community, to those who need help.
Not only stopping at donating blood, since 2018, Dr. Pham Thi Hanh Trang has decided to register to donate tissues and organs after her death. This is not an easy decision for many people, but for her, it is a humane act, bringing life to patients who are tired of waiting for organ transplants.
"I believe that when I am no longer there, donating tissues and organs can help many people have the opportunity to continue living. That made me feel lighter and more meaningful in this life" - Dr. Trang said.
Helping society
registering for organ donation is not only a personal decision but also requires understanding and support from the family. Fortunately, when sharing this wish, Dr. Trang received consensus from relatives. That further motivates her to persevere in her journey to give.

With her tireless contributions, Dr. Pham Thi Hanh Trang was recently awarded a certificate of merit by the Quang Binh Provincial Red Cross Society in recognition of her efforts for the community. This is a great encouragement for her to continue spreading the spirit of volunteerism, inspiring more people.
Not only contributing to professional work, Dr. Pham Thi Hanh Trang also actively participates in charity activities for the community. With a compassionate heart, she and her colleagues have participated in many medical examination programs and distributed free medicine to poor people and remote areas in Quang Binh.
