On August 26, at Huu Thanh Square, Khu Pho hamlet, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Xuan commune organized the "Meaningful Day of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the commune", in the form of "0-dong Fair".
At the festival, 200 people from poor and near-poor households, social protection households and policy families in difficult circumstances participated in free activities. The Organizing Committee served breakfast, drinking water; and presented rice, essential necessities and clothes.
Each gift is worth more than 200,000 VND. People can also participate in lucky draws and receive gifts. The Organizing Committee awarded 10 gifts, each of which is an electric fan worth about 300,000 VND.
The total cost of the festival is more than 50 million VND, mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Xuan commune from philanthropists inside and outside the locality.
This is the fourth "Meaningful Day" held in Vinh Xuan commune, thereby contributing to caring for the lives of people in difficult circumstances, spreading the spirit of mutual affection and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc.
