On March 10, Mr. Nguyen Le Phu Viet, a taxi driver in Lam Dong province, sent his thanks to the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force for supporting in guiding patients to the emergency room.
Previously, on the afternoon of March 9, Mr. Viet drove a car with license plate 86A-248. xx carrying Mr. T (resident of Son My commune, Lam Dong province) who was having a heart attack, from Thang Hai Health Station (Son My commune) to Ba Ria General Hospital for emergency treatment.

When the car was traveling on National Highway 55, to the Bung Rieng market area in Xuyen Moc commune (Ho Chi Minh City), Mr. Viet saw a traffic police team on patrol duty, so he stopped the car, announced the critical condition of the patient and requested guidance.
Two traffic police officers used specialized motorbikes, turned on horns and priority lights to guide the car carrying the patient to Ba Ria General Hospital for a distance of about 36km.


Sharing with reporters, Mr. Viet said that he was very lucky to have the Traffic Police paving the way, so the car quickly reached the hospital for doctors and nurses to rescue the patient. Thanks to that, the patient was temporarily out of danger.
