Police major donates blood to save critical patient

    Lam Dong - A commune police officer and people in Di Linh district promptly donated blood to save the life of a critical patient.

    On the afternoon of March 4, the leader of Di Linh District Medical Center (Lam Dong) confirmed that he was treating a patient with chronic kidney failure with severe acute anemia.

    Previously, the Center issued a loudspeaker announcing to find people with blood type O+ to promptly rescue the patient. Responding to the call, Major Vu Ngoc Du (Tan Nghia Commune Police) and Mr. Tran Van Thang (both in Di Linh District) volunteered to donate blood.

    Thanks to timely blood transfusion, the patient was out of danger and gradually stabilized.

    The leaders of Di Linh District Medical Center highly appreciated the blood donation gesture of the two volunteers.

    In particular, Major Vu Ngoc Du's actions further affirmed the spirit of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people" of the People's Public Security force.
