A Thanh Hoa Police officer promptly verified and returned 100 million VND to people who mistakenly transferred money, contributing to spreading a beautiful image in the force.

On April 17, according to information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, on the afternoon of April 11, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Nga - Deputy Director of Huong Thanh Resort (Logistics Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) - suddenly received 100 million VND transferred to her personal account.

Recognizing that this could be a case of mistaken transfer, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Nga reported to the leaders of the logistics department to ask for instructions to verify and handle according to regulations.

Faced with the large amount of money, Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Nga proactively reviewed all economic relationships and transactions of herself as well as her family. Through inspection, it was determined that there was no contact with the money transferor. Implementing the direction of the unit's leaders, Huong Thanh Resort was assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to urgently verify.

The verification results showed that the wrong transferor was Ms. N.T. N. A (residing at No. 100 Trinh Tung street, Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province). Due to negligence in the transaction process, she mistakenly transferred 100 million VND to Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Nga's account.

On that basis, representatives of Huong Thanh Resort and Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Nga directly went to Ms. N.T. N. A's family to return the full amount of money.

The honest and responsible actions of the collective of officers and soldiers of Huong Thanh Resort, especially Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Nga, clearly show the qualities of a people's police soldier. This action also contributes to spreading a beautiful image and consolidating people's trust in the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police force.
