On August 4, the Delegation of Party Agencies of Khanh Hoa province is coordinating with the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police and the Truong Son Commune Youth Union (Quang Tri province) to organize the program "Border Affection".
The program is organized to promote the pioneering and voluntary spirit of youth, contributing to caring for and supporting youth and people in border areas, while spreading human values, the spirit of sharing and responsibility for the community.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation organized "Journey to the Source", offering incense and flowers to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Special National Historical Relic Gianh ferry wharf (Bac Gianh ward) and General Vo Nguyen Giap tomb area (Phu Trach commune).
In addition, the units inaugurated and handed over the youth project "Lighting up the border area" in Khe Cat village; awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances who strive to study well in the area.
The program also awarded funds to support patrol, control, and crime prevention work for Truong Son Commune Police and organized sports exchange activities between units.
According to the Organizing Committee, the total cost of implementing the program reached more than 60 million VND.
