Parents can make sugar butter cookies with their children with the theme of the upcoming Halloween holiday season.

Halloween is not only a costume festival but also an opportunity for family members to participate in fun activities together. In particular, Halloween-themed cookies will help family members freely create.

To make Halloween cookies, prepare 250gr of all-purpose flour; 100gr of unsweetened sugar; salt; 125g unsalted butter; 1 chicken egg; 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Tools will need to roll up the dough; candle paper; cake slices (cookie cutter) with Halloween-themed shapes such as pumpkin, ghost, witch hat, butterfly...

For the sugar cream to decorate, you will need 1 egg whites; 150gr of powdered sugar; 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, food color (orange, black, white, purple).

First, make the cake, add the butter and flour to a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat at medium speed until the cotton mixture is light and turn light yellow.

Next, add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat well. slowly add the flour and salt mixture, mix gently until the ingredients are combined into a smooth, flexible mixture.

Divide the flour into two parts, wrap it with a wrap of food and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Refrigerating the cake flour will make it easier to roll and cut, while also helping the cake not to leak or lose shape when baked.

Preheat the oven to 170°C before 10 minutes. Take out the frozen cake flour, roll it thinly on a flat surface covered with candle paper or sprinkle a thin layer of cake flour, about 0.5cm thick.

Use a cutting mold to shape and then place the cake on a tray covered with candle paper and bake for 10 - 12 minutes until the cake turns golden brown. After baking, let the cake cool on the tray for a few minutes before moving to a plate to continue the decoration.

The decoration needs to beat egg whites with lemon juice until foaming. slowly move from the starch line and hit at low speed, then gradually increase the speed until the cotton mixture is hard, creating a sharp gap when raising the stick to hit.

Divide the ice cream into small bowls and mix the color of the food to your liking and then you can freely decorate creatively on each Halloween cake.
