According to initial information, the accident occurred on the same morning on National Highway 1A, section passing Km1092+200 (An Truong residential group, Duc Pho ward, Quang Ngai province).
At the above time, a tractor-trailer with license plate 98H-048. 04 pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 98RM-025. 28 driven by driver Hoang Chi Truong (26 years old, residing in Thien Tan commune, Lang Son province), traveling in the North-South direction, was parked on the side of the road.
At the same time, a truck with license plate 36F-006. 95 driven by driver Ha Van Huy (31 years old, residing in Thanh Hoa province). Thoi Kim Duong (24 years old, from Thanh Hoa province) was also in the car. When traveling in the same direction, the truck crashed into the rear of the tractor-trailer.
Due to the sudden situation and strong collision, the front of the truck was seriously damaged. Mr. Thoi Kim Duong died on the spot. Thousands of bamboo and wooden bars inside the truck bed spilled onto the road, causing local traffic congestion in the North-South direction.
Immediately after the accident occurred, Duc Pho Traffic Police Station (Quang Ngai Provincial Police Traffic Police Department) sent officers to the scene to divert traffic, regulate traffic, protect the scene and coordinate with professional units to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
