On January 13, 2026, the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police received videos and images provided by people, recording the scene of a 5-seater car, license plate 79A-533.xx stopping on the pedestrian road section.
The incident occurred at 5:22 PM on January 11, 2026 in the Ninh Hoa area. On January 14, 2026, Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station invited Ms. N.T.T (42 years old, residing in Bac Ninh Hoa ward) to work to handle traffic violations after receiving feedback from people.
Through verification, Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station determined that Ms. N.T.T was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the incident. At the working session with functional forces, Ms. T admitted her violation.
According to the provisions of Decree 168/2024/ND-CP of the Government on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of road traffic, the act of stopping vehicles on the road section for pedestrians crossing the road is fined from 600,000 VND to 800,000 VND, and at the same time applying regulations related to deducting points from driver's licenses according to current regulations.
The Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police recommends that people when participating in traffic should seriously comply with traffic orders, traffic sign systems, and traffic signals.
