    Can Tho - Dai Ngai 2 bridge is basically completed, allowing temporary traffic to help people in the two communes of An Thanh and Cu Lao Dung to stop waiting for the ferry.

    After more than 1 and a half years of construction, the main part of Dai Ngai 2 bridge across Hau river connecting Dai Ngai commune and An Thanh commune of Can Tho city (formerly in Cu Lao Dung district and Long Phu district, Soc Trang province) has been basically completed, reaching nearly 100% of the volume.

The temporary circulation helps people conveniently transport agricultural products, saves time and ensures safety.

Traffic and trade face many difficulties. Now that we have a bridge, I am very happy. More convenient travel, faster transportation of goods, and guaranteed better prices".

    Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, the officer in charge of safety of the Dai Ngai 2 Bridge Project (Construction Corporation No. 1 - CC1) said that to ensure safety when traveling temporarily, the unit has installed a traffic sign system, regulating a maximum speed of 20km/h.

    Mr. Duc added that the main bridge has been basically completed, and contractors are continuing to complete the bridge surface aesthetic items. The approach bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge are in the loading phase of monitoring subsidence, expected to be unloaded at the end of October 2025. After that, contractors will continue construction, striving to complete the entire approach road in 2025.
    Cau Dai Ngai 2 duoc khoi cong vao thang 10.2023, bac qua song Hau noi xa Dai Ngai va xa An Thanh (TP Can Tho, truoc day thuoc huyen Cu Lao Dung va huyen Long Phu, tinh Soc Trang cu). Cau dai 862m, gom 13 nhip, trong do nhip chinh dai 330m thi cong theo phuong phap duc hang.
    Dai Ngai 2 Bridge started construction in October 2023, spanning the Hau River connecting Dai Ngai Commune and An Thanh Commune, Can Tho City (formerly in Cu Lao Dung District and Long Phu District, Soc Trang Province). The bridge is 862m long, including 13 spans, of which the main span is 330m long and is constructed using the cantilever method.

    Dai Ngai 2 Bridge is one of two main bridges under the Dai Ngai Bridge Construction Investment Project on National Highway 60, connecting Tra Vinh and Soc Trang, now Vinh Long Province and Can Tho City. After completion, the project will eliminate the remaining ferry points on the river route of the Mekong Delta coastal provinces from Ca Mau to Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to connecting throughout National Highway 60, improving transport capacity and developing the socio-economic development of the southern coastal region.
