Ford Everest: 9,960 vehicles. Compared to 2022, Ford Everest's consumption will grow by nearly 43% in 2023. This model has a relatively high selling price in the D-size SUV segment (1.099-1,599 billion VND). The 2023 Ford Everest is mainly attractive thanks to its new-generation appeal, while its direct competitor is not. The car has an eye-catching design compared to the previous generation, the Co-Pilot 360 proactive safety technology package with many modern features.
Toyota Corolla Cross: 10,485 vehicles. This is one of the models with the sharpest decline in sales in the market in 2023, up to 51% compared to 2022. In addition to not being able to reduce 50% of registration fees in the second half of 2023 like domestic assembly products, this model is also under pressure as competitors race to reduce prices.
Hyundai Creta: 10,719 vehicles. The incentives for Hyundai Creta have been continuously maintained by dealers in the last months of the year, at times up to 120 million VND. This factor helps Creta sell the best of the B and B+ urban SUV segment in 2023, surpassing Corolla Cross for the first time despite a cumulative sales decrease of 11% compared to 2022.
Kia Sonet: 11,366 vehicles. Kia Sonet recorded consumption growth of up to 20% in 2023. This result was achieved because Thaco adjusted the suggested retail price of this model to 35-45 million VND at the end of May 2023, the new starting price was 519 million VND and the highest was 579 million VND.
Mazda CX-5: 16,808 cars. The Mazda CX-5 is among the few products that recorded positive sales growth last year, at 32.3% compared to 2022. This model has been popular with Vietnamese customers in the C-size SUV segment and has seen a breakthrough in sales after being upgraded in mid-life in early July 2023. Thanks to the same price as some B-class SUV models such as the Hyundai Creta ranging from 759.999 million VND, the Mazda CX-5 quickly attracted the attention of many Vietnamese users in 2023.
