The Tan Duc Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project in Tan Duc Commune, Ham Tan District, Binh Thuan Province was approved by the Prime Minister in 2021 with a scale of 300 hectares and a total investment of 1,360 billion VND.

The Management Board of Binh Thuan Industrial Parks has issued an Investment Registration Certificate to Sonadezi Binh Thuan Joint Stock Company (investor). According to the investor's representative, so far 275 hectares have completed compensation and site clearance. On March 11, 2 more households handed over 2.6 hectares of land after being mobilized. The rest are being campaigned for compensation.
Currently, Tan Duc Industrial Park still has problems with residential land and agricultural land in residential areas (7.3 ha). Even the entrance to the industrial park is still stuck with unapproved land prices.
In the past, with the motto of having a site, the unit has focused on constructing there to keep up with the progress. The construction process is also slower due to the geological factors, so there must be blasting and time to complete the procedures. To date, the total cost that the investor has spent on site clearance compensation and construction is about 800 billion VND.

Other items such as water supply for the industrial park have completed the water supply pipeline from Xuan Loc to the Tan Duc Industrial Park boundary, ready to supply water. To supply electricity to the industrial park, the Southern Power Corporation has committed to investing, including the 110 KV line and the Tan Duc Industrial Park transformer station, which are implementing investment procedures. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The 22KV line in the industrial park is preparing investment procedures and is expected to be completed in 2025, ensuring the electricity load according to the industrial park's investment and construction progress.
The telecommunications system serving the industrial park has been agreed upon by Viettel Binh Thuan to invest. The construction drawing design documents for the Tan Duc Industrial Park connection with National Highway 1A have been approved and the Ham Tan District Project Management Board is implementing procedures to select a construction contractor. Construction is expected to start at the end of March 2025.

Faced with the remaining problems, the investor recommended that the locality consolidate the records and make a list of households that need to carry out further enforcement to promptly clear the site and hand over clean land to the Construction Company. At the same time, support the resolution of problems and speed up the Company's land lease procedures in installments.
Regarding residential land and agricultural land in residential areas, it is necessary to approve specific land prices and complete compensation procedures for residential land and agricultural land in residential areas.
Binh Thuan provincial leaders affirmed the province's general spirit of making a strong determination to complete the infrastructure of Tan Duc Industrial Park Phase 1 as soon as possible.

Mr. Ha Le Thanh Chung - Chairman of Ham Tan District People's Committee - said that up to now, 93% of the project site has been basically handed over. The district has established 4 groups to mobilize people to hand over the site. Currently, 11 households have agreed to hand over 10 hectares, so the company needs to coordinate immediately with the locality to immediately implement compensation work. Specific land price work is also being urgently implemented. At the same time, the locality requested the company to mobilize more machinery to speed up the construction of the site.
It is expected that the Tan Duc Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project will be inaugurated on April 19, 2025, on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province. Therefore, there is not much time left, departments, branches, localities and investors are trying to speed up the removal of obstacles for construction, ensuring progress according to plan.
