Mac Gia Pha (MTGP) with the full name Ha Tien Town Hiep Town Mac Gia Pha is the oldest pa family tree in the South, created by Vu The Dinh (? - 1821) first compiled in 1818, writing in Chinese about the Mac Dynasty with the public opening of Ha Tien land (Kien Giang, now An Giang province). For many historical reasons, theMTGP was passed down under many handwritten sources, so it is inevitable that the "three-star, lost version" situation will happen.

On the other hand, because it is a work recorded from an individual's memory, recording years and months is quite complicated and difficult to associate. Therefore, although many people have participated in translating and contributed many titles, such as: Tan Viet Dieu (1961), Nguyen Khac Thuan (2001) and Nguyen Van Nguyen (2006), many readers will be surprised when receiving the work of the group Tran Hoang Vu - Ha Tan Tai. The book is 528 pages thick (16-cm thick) published by Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House. Because this is not only the first time to introduce 2 translations from 4 Han van sources, but also presenting many rare documents and texts to help readers thoroughly understand the problem.
The book is divided into three main parts:MTGP version systems; Ho Mac with Ha Tien land; Ha Tien Mac Thuy the doan. In the first part, the group of authors introduced 2MTGP translations with references and additions. One is kept by the Mac Thanh Can family, the Mac family's lineage, and the other is kept by the Han Nom Research Institute.

With the document issued by Mac Thanh Can's family, the family document, currently exists in 2 versions (HT.01 and HT.02). HT.01 (with some lost front pages, currently there are only 48 pages, 2 sides, each page has 6 lines) is older, identified as the axis and HT.02 (including 37 pages, 2 sides, each page has 8 lines) is used for reference and to supplement the defective parts. The version is maintained by the Han Nom Research Institute, also has 2 versions (A1321 and A.39), the group of authors introducing the A1321 version (including 47 revisions, 2 sides, 7 lines each) with reference to version A.39 (including 34 revisions, 2 sides, 9 lines each) and the printed version in "Linh Nam Chi Co Minh Co Truong Truyen Thieu Cuu" published by Doi Kha Lai and Duong Bao Quan published by Trung Chau Cuu Thanh Commune Publishing House. This is a new point compared to previousMTGP products.
In the second part, based on many document platforms at home and abroad, the authors have given many key reliable evidence, opening a new vision, more complete than the old issues, such as: the year of birth of Mac Cuu, or Mac Cuu made the snail covered with Saigon; Mac Cuu offered the land at any time ... Mac Thien Tu with Tao Dan Chieu Anh Cac ... Typically, the year of birth of Mac Cuu, or Mac Cuu did the snail used to be used to Saigon ... in the content of the genealogy of the Mac Ha Tien family, the group pointed out many unreasonable points that were handed down about the story of Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu Phong for them Mac 7 words "Thien, Tu, Cong, Ba, Tu, Tu, Nam" (That Diep Phien Han, Loplay, Loplay " Earth "to name ...
More specifically, there is an appendix of documents with many valuable documents about the Mac family, such as: Mac Thien Tu's letter to Phung Abhi in Truong Ky (Nagasaki, Japan) in 1740; Mac Thien Tu's letter to the Emperor of Japan in 1742...
With those new points,MTGP not only deserves to be a useful work for the Mac family with the public opening of Ha Tien - "a border of boundaries, a poem" - but also sows great confidence in the hearts of young people with the roots of the homeland. Because the two authors of this work belong to the 8x generation of their hometown An Giang.
