With the theme "Each page - a pride", this year's event is not only aimed at developing the habit of reading in the community but also associated with the 50th anniversary of the great victory of the spring of 1975 - an important milestone in the nation's history.
In the library grounds, many readers listened to a special program introducing two typical works of the People's Army Publishing House: "Red Rain" by writer Chu Lai and "In the tornado" by writer Khuat Quang Thuy.

The series of activities at the event was organized richly and creatively, including: book exhibition "Dai Thuong Xuan 1975 qua pages of books", seminar on exchanging literary works on war, painting contest and storytelling according to books, experience "Memory book - story told by soldiers", and the "Books - Clean - Green" campaign.
Each page of the book opens up as a journey to discover traditional values and glorious feats that have fostered Vietnamese identity, becoming a bridge between the heroic past and the good present, inspiring each Vietnamese person to love and appreciate the achievements of generations of ancestors and constantly foster knowledge to build an increasingly prosperous and developed country.

The experience of "Memory - Story of Soldier" is also excited to participate. They are instructed to make a notebook by themselves with the imprint of the old soldier and copy in the excerpts of the passionate patriotism, collected in the works "Forever 20 years old" by Nguyen Van Thac, "Diary Dang Thuy Tram", "Diary of Le Anh Xuan", "Chu Cam Phong's battlefield diary" ...

Each activity brings in-depth perspectives on history, contributing to arousing national pride and spreading the love of books in the community.
At the event, hundreds of students participated in painting activities with themes towards celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification, decorating notebooks, and telling stories about history.

Through activities, Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 will contribute to encouraging and developing the book reading movement, raising people's awareness of the great meaning and importance of reading, building the habit of reading in families, schools, agencies, organizations and the community.
