Workers' Month 2025 has an aspirational theme: "Vietnamese workers pioneer in entering a new era". A message that is both solemn and suggests the stature of the working class - the force that not only plays a role in production but also the subject of the country's integration and development in the digital age, green transformation and the fourth industrial revolution.
It is worth noting that Workers' Month has never been a promotional or formal event. The "know-it-all" figures for 2024 and the plan for 2025 have shown proper and substantial investment in all activities.
More than 64 thematic meetings with more than 10,000 workers directly spoke about the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Trade Unions. Nearly 3,500 billion VND was allocated to take care of workers in Ho Chi Minh City in just one month. Tens of thousands of cultural and sports activities, nearly 120,000 new union members, more than 27,000 "Union Shelters" were built and repaired...
Each activity that has just been mentioned not only has spiritual significance but also provides timely material and legal support for workers to confidently contribute.
More importantly, Workers' Month is gradually becoming an inspiring space for union members and workers to promote their proactive and creative role in the new era through a series of creative programs such as "Creative Workers, Strongly entering the new era", "Creative Labor Festival", "5th month Dialogue"...
Workers' Month is not only a series of symbolic activities of the Trade Union organization but has gradually become an important political and social foundation, where major policies of the Party and State are realized through specific and practical actions for workers.
From sharing hearts such as "Union Shelter", "Union Meal", to new welfare initiatives such as "Zero-dong Market", "Love Station", or free health check-up programs, improving skills, supporting job conversion..., all have created an increasingly perfect welfare ecosystem.
That is not only a care but also a way for the Trade Union organization and authorities at all levels to build trust - so that workers are not alone in their journey to establish a career.
reality shows that sustainable development cannot only rely on capital, technology or policies but is also supported by a qualified, skilled workforce with a sense of mastery and innovation.
When workers are honored, protected, and invested in the right way, it is not only a gratitude for the hands that have created growth miracles but also the best way to ensure the sustainable future of a country.
