(Thanh Hoa), with more than 21,000 workers, the company's trade union has actively participated with the enterprise in implementing labor laws; amending and supplementing regulations; building a job position evaluation system. Thanks to that, about 80% of workers enjoy hazardous, heavy-duty, and technical performance allowances at a rate of 5-12% of salary.
Every year, the company organizes 2 periodic dialogues and from 4-6 unexpected dialogues when problems arise. Through dialogues, many recommendations of workers related to salaries, benefits, meals, working conditions and occupational safety and health are resolved promptly.
The above activities, at first glance, seem like they can take place anywhere, where there is a grassroots trade union.In fact, to be able to dialogue and negotiate, it requires very high bravery from trade union officials.Because, the changes from dialogue and negotiation must be substantive, with specific results: Proposals are resolved, rights are improved, and trust is strengthened.
At Annora Vietnam Footwear Co., Ltd., the results of the trade union have a great contribution from the Chairman of the Company's Trade Union Nguyen Van Tron - who is honored by workers as a trade union leader.
The story of Mr. Tron, a typical example of the bravery of trade union officials in negotiation and dialogue. On April 28, a program to commend 101 outstanding grassroots trade union presidents, typical in dialogue and collective negotiation will be organized. These are people who are not only dynamic, creative, have good morals, well comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and the company's internal regulations and rules, but also must understand the business to make feasible proposals, understand employees to speak correctly about needs and most importantly, have high bravery and responsibility.
This activity is proof of the efforts to successfully implement the breakthrough of the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress on "Promoting dialogue, collective bargaining, focusing on wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours, occupational safety and health" and is a practical activity to welcome the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
