The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an official dispatch on reporting on the situation of wages, bonuses and labor relations in enterprises.
One of the notable contents in this document is that the Ministry of Home Affairs requests the Directors of the Departments of Home Affairs of provinces and centrally run cities to preside over and coordinate with the Management Board of Industrial Parks, Economic Zones, Export Processing Zones to survey, grasp the situation of wages, unpaid wages, and labor relations in 2025; the bonus plan based on the production and business results in enterprises during the New Year and Lunar New Year 2026; compile data and send it to the Ministry of Home Affairs (through the Department of Wages and Social Insurance) before December 25, 2025.

In Khanh Hoa, the provincial Department of Home Affairs has reported on the labor situation, wages in 2025 and the 2026 Tet bonus plan at 764 enterprises surveyed with more than 62,000 employees in this province.
For the 2026 Lunar New Year bonus, 476 enterprises have developed a bonus plan with an average of more than 2.7 million VND/person. Of which, the lowest level is 500,000 VND/person, the highest is 48.5 million VND/person.
Regarding the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year bonus in 2026, more than 520 enterprises have plans to reward employees with an average of more than 9.4 million VND/person.
Notably, foreign-invested enterprises have an average bonus of more than 7.5 million VND/person; the highest is 350 million VND/person; the lowest is 500,000 VND/person.
In Ha Tinh, the provincial Department of Home Affairs said that through a survey of the implementation of salary regulations in 2025; the Lunar New Year and Lunar New Year bonus plan for Binh Ngo in 2026 at 923 enterprises in Ha Tinh, the results show that there are currently 619 enterprises planning to reward employees for the upcoming Lunar New Year and 692 enterprises planning to reward employees for the Lunar New Year.
The highest expected bonus for the Lunar New Year in 2026 is 20 million VND/person for a company with 100% charter capital held by the State; the lowest bonus is from 100,000 VND/person in a company with shares and capital contributions dominated by the State and private enterprises.
For the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year bonus in 2026, the highest expected to be 192 million VND/person belonging to foreign-invested enterprises; the lowest bonus is from 200,000 VND to 1 million VND/person for small and medium enterprises.
The average bonus for the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo is 8.4 million VND/person. In which, the average bonus at enterprises with foreign investment capital is 11.5 million VND/person; companies with controlling shares and capital contributions from the State is 8.6 million VND/person; companies with 100% state capital are 4.7 million VND/person and private enterprises are 5 million VND/person.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the highest bonuses for the Lunar New Year and Lunar New Year in 2025 are 1.8 billion VND and 1.908 billion VND respectively, both belonging to the group of foreign-invested enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
