Thus, there is only one more week until the end of June, but the business owner has not yet received any information about the debt repayment commitment, and is even at a dead end.
According to statistics from Ms. Tran Thi Tam - the owner of the household with outstanding debts - the total amount of money that communes and departments in Bao Yen district still owe to their families is 1 billion 791 million VND.
On the part of the unit with outstanding debt, such as the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bao Yen district, it is considered that the debt of more than 107 million VND is too large, so up to now, the unit has not been able to arrange funding to pay for business households.
Other debt institutions such as Vinh Yen commune (over 252 million VND); Bao Ha commune (191 million VND); Department of Natural Resources and Environment (over 145 million VND)... all said that the debt was from previous leadership periods, so it could not be paid.
So what will happen to the people?
Ms. Tran Thi Tam was so impatient, when she saw that the restaurants were owed by the commune, she paid in full, while she had not any unit willing to pay. Meanwhile, there was only one more week left until the district-level operations were stopped, and other units were merged, at that time they did not know who to demand.
Business owners are worried about losing that large amount of money, because they have asked for it many times, but the units all use excuses to not repay the debt. Recently, representatives of debt agencies have asked Ms. Tran Thi Tam to re- redraw each debt code, each arising day, each signer, each type of document...
Talking to Lao Dong reporter, Ms. Tran Thi Tam was upset and said: "I have enough grounds to prove the debt. With such a large number of books that have been published for more than ten years and they have to re- redraw them all, it is no different from a challenge, causing difficulties and not wanting to pay us.
We hope that the words of this business owner will reach the ears of the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee.
After the press reported on the printing shop debt, the Chairman of Lao Cai province assigned the Secretary of Bao Yen District Party Committee to direct the review and settlement of debts at agencies and units in the district before June 30, 2025.
This directive must be considered the ultimatum of the Chairman of Lao Cai province.
If the leaders of the above units do not repay the debt to the business household, Bao Yen district stops operating, Lao Cai province must be responsible for handling it.
There is no reason for businesses to suffer.
