On December 9, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health said that as of December 4, the entire province had 128,045 residents who had activated their Electronic Health Book on VNeID.
128,045/1,439,411 residents have activated the Electronic Health Book on VNeID, reaching a rate of 7.84%; 114,930 residents have integrated health insurance on VNeID, reaching a rate of 7.98%.
According to the Khanh Hoa health sector, the Electronic Health Book is applied at all medical examination and treatment facilities, including public and private ones, as well as in outpatient, inpatient and remote examination and treatment forms.
Through the Electronic Health Book, people can proactively search for connections and interact online with hospitals and doctors when they need health care.
People also proactively self-assess their personal health risk factors and update basic medical data of themselves and their relatives to be proactive in disease prevention and health care; receive advice, guidance on nutrition and treatment advice for people with chronic diseases.
Doctors are provided with full information about the patient's illness, medical history, and health risk factors when they come for examination.
The information on VNeID is as valid as on paper, including: Personal information; citizen identification number; health insurance card information; medical examination and treatment history; re-examination appointment slip; referral slip on the VNeID application is as valid as on paper. Personal health information on the Electronic Health Book has the same security as other information on VNeID.
