On January 3rd, Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital confirmed that thanks to the efforts, dedication, and enthusiasm in every moment of the medical team at the hospital, a female patient with severe stroke miraculously recovered.
Previously, on November 29, 2025, Ms. H.T.H (born in 1971, residing in Trieu Binh commune, Quang Tri province) was taken to the hospital in a state of vomiting, reduced consciousness, and deep coma.
Through examination and CT scan of the brain, doctors diagnosed the patient with a second-hour brain stroke, so they immediately performed tracheostomy, mechanical ventilation and multi-specialty consultation.
The results of a CT scan of the cerebral blood vessels showed that the patient had a ruptured left carotid artery aneurysm sac, accompanied by a ruptured right carotid artery aneurysm sac - a particularly dangerous condition, which can be fatal if not treated promptly.
After the consultation, the doctors agreed on a treatment plan including ventricular drainage to reduce intracranial pressure, intervention with cerebral artery aneurysm by digitally erasing the background, and at the same time intensive resuscitation, blood pressure control, vasoconstriction prevention, mechanical ventilation and antibiotic use.
The intervention took place in about 45 minutes, the blisters were completely blocked, and brain circulation was preserved. After that, the patient was transferred to the intensive care unit for further monitoring and treatment.
Thanks to the urgent and effective coordination between specialties and the recovery and early rehabilitation process, after nearly 1 month of treatment, the patient has clearly improved consciousness, can communicate and move hands and feet well, and blood clots in the brain and ventricles have been completely absorbed.
