On September 1, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) issued an urgent document to the Directors of Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health, Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital on continuing to provide emergency care and treatment for victims in the serious traffic accident that occurred in the area.
On the morning of August 31, on the eastern bypass road, in the direction of Ham Rong intersection (Hoi Phu ward, Gia Lai province), a serious accident occurred.
A sleeper bus of Viet Tan Phat bus company, license plate 50E-449. XX, was traveling in the direction from Ham Rong to Dak Doa when it overturned.
According to a quick report from the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health, the accident killed 4 people and injured 20 others. Victims were taken to Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital for emergency treatment.
Among the injured cases, 1 victim was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for further treatment and 1 victim was transferred to Gia Lai Provincial Central General Hospital.
Faced with the above situation, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Director of Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health and Cho Ray Hospital to focus maximum resources on rescuing the victims.
